GRANTS:
Arrangements with the Shaw Festival
have been made to award three to five ISS Travel Grants each year to complement
Bryden Scholarships (which provide accommodations) for young scholars 40 and
under to attend and deliver a paper at the Annual Summer
Shaw Symposium at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the Lake Ontario, in
2010 scheduled for July 23-24-25. For

ISS Travel Grants will be awarded to two
to four young scholars 40 and under to attend and deliver a paper at the Annual Fall Shaw Symposium in Chicago, November 22-23. For details, please see http://www.shawsociety.org/FallSymposium-2010.htm,
RESEARCH
GRANTS:
No research grants are being offered
at this time.
PRIZES:
At the Shaw Conference—"GBS by
the Bay"—sponsored by the University of South Florida at Sarasota in 2004,
five $500 awards were given for best papers by students. Look for announcements of such awards in the
future.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Anyone who would like to provide
support for student scholarships for the study of Shaw should contact the ISS
