Arrangements with the Shaw Festival have been made to award two to five ISS Travel Grants each year to complement Bryden Scholarships (which provide free accommodations for three nights & free registration) for “emerging scholars” to attend and deliver a paper at the Annual Summer Shaw Symposium at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the Lake Ontario, usually scheduled in late July. The ISS may also award Travel Grants that are not accompanied by Bryden Scholarships, which means that the winner of a grant would be responsible for arranging and paying for accommodations. For more details about the symposium, see http://www.shawsociety.org/SummerSymposium-2014.htm . Send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
