5.) Note on Summer Shaw Symposiums:

top

Arrangements with the Shaw Festival have been made to award two to five ISS Travel Grants each year to complement Bryden Scholarships (which provide accommodations & free registration) for “emerging scholars” to attend and deliver a paper at the Annual Summer Shaw Symposium at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the Lake Ontario, usually scheduled in late July.  The ISS may also award Travel Grants that are not accompanied by Bryden Scholarships, which means that the winner of a grant would be responsible for arranging and paying for accommodations.
